2.2 modeling and simulation stage

The virtual environment is established by VRML, and its interaction method is also compiled by VRML. DFX file and WRL file conversion technology are directly used for information exchange. This part is mainly through visual effects, supplemented by auditory feelings, to give the designers with the advantages of stable performance sensory understanding, such as the shape of the crane, working movement, etc., and make the designers interact directly with the crane model in the virtual environment

2.3 perfect design stage

according to the performance characteristics of the crane, this part integrates finite element, dynamic simulation, optimization design, reliability analysis and other modules. Add some load information to the Crane completed in the preliminary design, so that the computer can automatically calculate the stress, strain, fatigue, strength, vibration, etc. of the crane structure, and visualize the calculation results. The usual method is to use color to display the distribution of different sizes of numbers. In the virtual environment, we also allow users to dynamically see the working condition of the crane under the load: when the mouse moves to a certain point on the structure, the calculated value is dynamically displayed; If the calculated value here exceeds the allowable value, the computer will give a warning sound, and the user can also cut here to see the damage of the section; In case of overload, the user can also see the dynamic process of crane damage.
